Full title: Braving the Wilderness, The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone
While reading this book I felt empowered, self aware, socially conscious and overall extremely positive. I was learning how to feel like I belong. I was ready to take on the world and be better at it! Having finished a few hours ago, there are few things that stuck out to me and hopefully will stay with me like embodying a "Hard back, soft front and wild heart" or that you generally have to be vulnerable to connect with people out in the "wilderness."
Overall I enjoyed the book, but unfortunately in a week I doubt I'll remember much about it. It's well written but once you put the book down for a day specifics are unmemorable.
My wife, on the other hand, loved this book and was the one who recommended it. I'm not sure what that says about either one of us.
